I love the chord progression in this melody. That feeling you get with a combination of minor and major notes that promptly gives you a feeling of failure and loss while at the same time instilling an epic feeling that gives you hope for a second chance. Also, Vetrom, you win me over with the violins, violins always wins me over. In all seriousness this song really is the perfect “Game Over” song with all the emotions it instills into the player.

Wouldn't have known about this because I didn't die once in chapter 2 and only know about this track because I bought the soundtrack.

How this man manages to make songs that aren't even a minute long, into multi-minute masterpieces, astounds me.

I think in undertale toby fox didnt anticipate how much of an impact the ost would have so this time he made every song as memorable as possible cuz nobody is putting this much effort into a track that nobody will ever stop to listen

i think this is my favorite song from deltarune now, the courage part of the name and the music just gives me memories/vibes from zelda, this is a really underrated track right now, but this is really good work! keep it up!

The more I listen to this theme, the more I realize that it has the motif that secret bosses do, the “freedom” motif? But it’s split apart here. Maybe it represents the fact that Kris KNOWS they can’t have freedom unlike the Jevil who feels free and Spamton who believe he could be free?
