He clarified all restored in Jesus Christ not following other paths. He does not teach "Oprah" Gospel. Big Difference. This guy always points to Calvary as The Only Way to Salvation. We do not know all that truly takes place in the eternal government after physical death. We are not God. Nothing is impossible with God either in the physical realm or the eternal realm. We don't know. The Only Way to enter God's Presence physically is in Jesus Christ Alone. That is what this guy teaches.

As I peel back and consider the richness in the layers of meaning in God's promise in Genesis. God's loving kindness for His creation and its condition stand front and center. Also, love thy neighbor as thyself is present just below the surface in: "seed time and harvest...." set this principle into perpetuity Genesis 8 (Gnv) 21 And the Lord smelled a savor of rest, and the Lord said in his heart, I will henceforth curse the ground no more for man’s cause: for the imagination of man’s heart is evil, even from his youth: neither will I smite anymore all things living, as I have done. 22 Hereafter seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and Summer and Winter, and day and night shall not cease, so long as the earth remaineth.

Another excellent study! This message should be sent to every pastor of all faith-based communities. How often as believers, I feel we miss the mark in what “ deeply rooted in His Love” means. Thus, we revert to “ foaming at the mouth” to justify our own perspective or misunderstanding of love. So, what is the soil of love like? I think it’s experiencing a complex, multifaceted love. We should be rooted in unconditional love, in everlasting love. . God’s love does not end; it’s eternal. We are rooted in Love so priceless & valuable, it was worth the life of Yeshua. Do our roots sometimes stray into other soil-sure, we are human. I believe when we remain rooted in earthly matters, we are in a soil that doesn’t feed us well. We don’t grow, we don’t blossom, we don’t bear fruit. So we ask for grace and forgiveness, and for our roots to find their way back to the soil of His Love where we will nurture and grow to be deeply rooted in Yeshuas and God’s Love and produce good fruit in the name of love=God❤

Absolutely nobody has ever been saved by loving God. True if we love God we will obey His Commandments. Thankfully we aren't saved by loving God but rather because He first loved us and gave Himself for us. Faith that works is just another cleverly repackaged version of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense. James is really about having a practical faith that helps others and has absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. False teachers redefine faith as obedience and belief as total commitment or love. Let's help you with the Biblical definition of faith. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen." Translation: Faith is being convinced that something is true. You are adding a lifetime of works to the gospel message and calling it love. I serve God faithfully out of love and gratitude for the free gift of salvation. There are no works required up front or through the back door. Call it love if it makes you feel better, but it's still works.

We need serious help to restore marriages and families and local communities. How? I am seriously exhausted and very overwhelmed as a parent. I see deadness in every aspect of my local community. I challenge everyone to watch teens walk into highschool every morning for one week or watch them come out after school daily. Look at how they dress, the look in their eyes and more. Then, go drive around your local community and count how many churches there are. Its all eye opening. No outreach of local ministry after or before school. No free meals served. Zero outreach . Oh! I forgot. The government takes care of the kids now. Why on Earth are we paying high daycare costs when we got many seniors who would love to watch kids for a very low cost to free, maybe even barter. Oh wait! We got government regulations. Reagan "The government is not your friend." Wake up church!!! Please. Save the kids!!! Do ee seriously love our babies, children, teens and young adults??? Where is the Church???

Shade, I Corinthians 13 love is definitely what we all need to strive for daily. It gets a little easier when you drop ego and self-promotion. I have a question regarding your view of reconciliation for all meaning salvation for all. How would you interpret these verses: 14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (Revelation 22:14, ESV) It seems there is a choice for each person as to whether or not they inherit eternal life?????

This is a great subject to put on the table! Allow me to start with a Scripture: James 1:27 - 'Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction...' Then right after that, he writes: 'and to keep himself unspotted from the world.'. What I learned from that Scripture was that by assisting others, it can help us stay unspotted from the world. So, in my case, I lean into helping my wife, children and parents...as much as I can...then, of course, I try to answer as many comments and questions here, with the intent to help others love others. I also have some other local community folks that can use a hand here and there for a variety of things. All of this helps me stay in the Spirit, because I think serving others actually is staying in the Spirit. This may not get rid of every challenge immediately, but I do think it does help in getting the momentum going in the right direction. I hope this helps!

This was His last commandment - that is very clear to me. It is very hard to do this in today's world, but we have to hang onto this...love of God and others wraps it all up. For me, that is what was left for us...there is much in the bible that IS NOT WRITTEN TO US. What is for us is faith and love. It's interesting that you bring up gifts, I personally think they are no longer but as you say, it doesn't really matter to me if another person believes in them but someone I thought was a loving sister in Christ literally told me she repents of ever having called me a sister or a friend. That revealed hatred to me - I didn't agree with her - therefore, I was not saved. I bear her no ill will and in fact, pray for her (and others) because I believe we are to love one another and forgiveness is a huge part of that.

God is love. The ten commandments are summarized by loving God and loving your neighbor as you love yourself. If you love God, you won't violate the first four commandments. If you love your neighbor, you won't violate the remaining six. But no human can drum up that kind of love. In essence, the old covenant Israelites were commanded to love God and neighbor. But did they at large? No! For the terms of that covenant required a vow from the people to do so. Of course they couldn't. No slam on them for we today can't do it either if we're living under an old covenant mindset. Now enter the new covenant. This is a whole different ballgame. For the terms of the new covenant are God's own oath to change the hearts of men. And God cannot fail. Under the terms of the new covenant, God writes His royal law of love in the hearts of men. And that is the ONLY way we will love God and neighbor. Anything else is a work of the flesh no matter how nice it appears externally. These days the word love is a loaded word. Actually it's a cheapened word. Today love means a wholesale acceptance of everything and everyone regardless of whether or not it's an abomination in the eyes of God. To a large degree, this sentiment has seeped into the conciousness of professed christians. Many have been deceived into thinking that rebuking sin is unkind and unloving. But it's not. It's a part of love. God loves but He doesn't molly coddle. He rebukes. And when we feel it we don't like it. Depending on the situation, rebuking is not always sweet and gentle. Paul advised a harsh rebuke on a brother who refused to refrain from fornicating with his mother in law. He advised the church to deliver that brother to satan/adversary which were at that time the Judean authorities who punished people for those activities so that his flesh would be destroyed and his spirit saved. He also advocated for harsh rebukes for those who were misleading the flock propagating false teachings. Some folks would say that's unloving. Yeah, unloving alright. Unloving to God by misrepresenting Him and unloving to the flock who were being mislead. Love is a balance of the warm fuzzies, sweetness and gentileness with some serious tough rebuking in which ever situation calls for it. So, God doesn't buy into this cheapened perverted sentiment wrongly defined as love. Neither should His representatives on earth. Love is a balance. Not a group hug fest kumbayah party. Peace.

Faith is love in action "BE MOVED WITH COMPASSION" “Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.” Philippians 2:1-2 NIV “And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.” Mark 6:34 “And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.” Mark 1:40-41 “And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.” Matthew 14:14 Love never fails

Lev 19:17 ‘Do not hate your brother in your heart. Reprove your neighbour, for certain, and bear no sin because of him. Lev 19:18 ‘Do not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the children of your people. And you shall love your neighbour as yourself. I am יהוה. Reproving your neighbor is love if he is in error. The laws of YHVH are the ways of righteousness and what we should live by. Otherwise there is no standard to judge by or be your guide other than culture and feelings. Faith has to be rooted in obedience which is love. Here is the how to love YHVH: Deu 6:4 “Hear, O Yisra’ěl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one! Deu 6:5 “And you shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might. Deu 6:6 “And these Wordsa which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart, Deu 6:7 and you shall impress them upon your children, and shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up, Deu 6:8 and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. Deu 6:9 “And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Lots of folks have taken the position of 'I'm rebuking you because I love you so much.' Well...I'm not buying that line. Even Jeremiah 31:34 prophecies: 'And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour,'...I'll go with the definition of 'love' laid out in 1st Corinthians. The kind of love that can be written in the 'fleshy tables of our hearts' rather than in stone or on doorposts.

@@ShadeStoneMusic Very true, many people get self righteous and become judges. That being said, the failure of the church lately is obvious because they refuse to stand on principle (law). There are a whole slew of gay, lesbian pastors now and so much perversity has crept in. Divorce rates are as high in the church as out and those addicted to pornography is high. All of this needs to be stamped out inside the congregation and shouldn't be allowed in until corrected (Repentance is a necessary step). There is principle in the OT to keep the camp clean.

@@ShadeStoneMusic Its not love written on our hearts but the Commandments (which is how to love). The correct definition of love is paramount: Jer 31:33 “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’ěl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. My KING He is the King of the Jews He is the King of Israel But He’s also King of all the Ages; King of Heaven; King of Glory; King of Kings; …and Lord of Lords. He is a prophet before Moses; a priest after Melchizedek; a champion like Joshua; an offering in place of Isaac; a king from the line of David; a counselor above Solomon; beloved, rejected, and exalted like Joseph; and yet far more… The Heavens declare His glory… and the firmament shows His handiwork. He who is, who was, and who always will be; The first and the last He is the Alpha and Omega the Aleph and the Tau the A and the Z; He is the ego eimi, the the “I AM that I AM” The voice of the burning bush the Captain of the Lord’s Host the conqueror of Jericho He is our Kinsman-Redeemer and He is our Avenger of Blood; and He is our City of Refuge; He was crucified on a cross of wood; Yet He made the hill on which it stood. By Him were all things made that were made; without Him was not anything made that was made; By Him are all things held together! In Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily; The very God of very God. He became the first fruits of them that slept. He is our Performing High Priest; Our Personal Prophet; Our Reigning King. He is enduringly strong; entirely sincere; eternally steadfast; He is imperially powerful; immortally graceful; impartially merciful; He stands alone in Himself: He’s unique, pre-eminent, supreme, unparalleled: He’s the Loftiest idea & in Literature; He’s the highest Personality in Philosophy; He’s the Fundamental Doctrine of Theology; He’s the Supreme Problem in “higher criticism”! He’s the Son of God! There is no means of measuring his limitless love: It was written in blood, on that wooden cross erected in Judea 2,000 years ago. He was born of a woman so that we could be born of God; He humbled Himself so that we could be lifted up; He became a servant so that we could be made joint-heirs; He suffered rejection so that we could become His friends; He denied Himself so that we could freely receive all things; He gave Himself so that He could bless us in every way. He is Available to the tempted and the tried; Blesses the young; Cleanses the lepers; Defends the feeble; Delivers the captives; Discharges the debtors; Forgives the sinners; Franchises the meek; Guards the besieged; Heals the sick; Provides strength to the weak; Regards the aged; Rewards the diligent; Serves the unfortunate; Sympathizes and He saves! His Offices are many; His Reign is righteous; His Promises are certain; His Goodness is limitless; His Light is matchless; His Love never changes; His Grace is sufficient; His Mercy is everlasting; His Word is enough; His Yoke is easy and His Burden is light! He’s indescribable; He’s incomprehensible; He’s irresistable; He’s invinceable! The Heaven of heavens cannot contain Him; Man cannot explain Him The Pharisees couldn’t stand Him but soon learned that they couldn’t stop Him; They railroaded Him through 6 illegal trials, and yet The witnesses couldn’t agree against Him and the personal representative of the ruler of the world, couldn’t find any fault with Him; Herod couldn’t kill Him death couldn’t handle Him the grave couldn’t hold Him! He has always been and always will be; He had no predecessor and will have no successor; You can’t impeach Him and he isn’t going to resign! His name is above every name; That at the name of Yeshua Every knee shall bow Every tongue shall confess That Jesus Christ is Lord! His is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory… for ever, and ever. Hallelujah! …and Amen!
