Years later, I found a falcon zord for parts myself. Mine is ok, just missing the head. Bought one off ebay for $15 for parts. Only needed the head. Then realized I needed a foot too. So far I can combine the 2 to make a whole falcon zord. Now I need to find stickers, the site you put in is sold out. Of course, due to being years later. I will use this video to assist me on making a whole falcon zord.

The Legacy Falconzord is coming soon. A prototype was disdplayed at the 2015 San Diego and New York Comic Cons. I wish they had also displayed prototypes of the Legacy Ninja Megazord and the Legacy Shogun Megazord too.

+TheTFReview They should've displayed the prototype of the Legacy Thunder Megazord of the 2014 San Diego and New York Comic Cons along with the prototypes of the Legacy White Tigerzord and Saba the Talking Tiger Saber and should've released the Legacy Thunder Megazord in February of 2015 along with the Legacy White Tigerzord and Saba the Talking Tiger Saber too and should've displayed prototypes of the Legacy Ninja Megazord and the Legacy Shogun Megazord of the 2015 San Diego and New York Comic Cons with the prototype of the Legacy Falconzord instead.

I just got a Ninja MegaFalconzord Set for $90 (incomplete, but I got two crucial missing parts coming from eBay coming in), but with the gold chrome on the Falconzord's back is gone! I might have to Retrobrite the wings and back of the Falconzord to make it look good. Might as well replace the chrome with metallic gold paint. But for now, I'mma gonna wait for my BD15 Decals Ninja Megazord Labels, and restore that thing to its former glory.

Is there anyway to make it's feet tight again? Mine are loose and won't hold the weight anymore.

+TheTFReview the reason why there was a battery pack was due to the fact the original Japanese counterpart the DX Tsubasamaru from the Ninja Sentai Kakuranger toyline had lights & sounds which also explains the red translucent wing tips the electronics were stripped for the American release & videos of that version do exist online here on KZitem.

+TheTFReview you should do a comparison video of both versions and even review Tsubasamaru too. With the legacy Falconzord coming out from S3 I hope the movie version along with the movie Ninja Megazord is made for the legacy line I hope you can also compare both this Falconzord and Tsubasamaru with the legacy S3 version.

I plan on doing that when the legacy version comes out!

+TheTFReview the chrome back on Tsubasamaru had a switch to switch between the Falcon and firing sounds and the button were also removed from the America release. Plus the original battery cover had a patch for easy opening & closing which is where that one screw is. Other wise Tsubasamaru can still combine with the American Ninja & Shogun Megazords due to being made from the same mold.

I bought someone's used Shogun Megazord from Japan, and it included a beat up Falconzord (Tsubasamaru, I guess it was called in Japan?). The electronics still work (except the lights need new wires), but the whole Falconzord is yellowed from time! I plan to soak with Hydrogen Peroxide with UV lighting to whiten, but I see the Falconzord's beak needs paint because it's scraped and scratched! What paint is recommended for the beak?

A similar situation with me. My dad recommends Metallic enamel, gold color, because most of the chrome on the Falconzord was stripped away due to age.

Nice work! How do keep track of which screws go into which holes? Or are the screws all the same on this toy?
@ToyFan
8 жыл бұрын
+likeits1985 On this toy there were 3 difference size screws so it was pretty easy to manage. On something larger though you def want to keep them in separate baggies.

Out of curiosity does, Goo Gone remove the yellowing from white plastic? I'm restoring a Falconzord and Ecto-1 that has some of the plastics yellowed. I've been using hydrogen peroxided to clean out the yellow and it does an okay job, but I would like to make them as close to their original color as possible.
@ToyFan

+Zminator1986 Goo Gone isn't really meant for that. The best think you can do for yellowing is taking the toy apart and letting it soak in a hydrogen peroxide bath for 1-2 days. Granted any stickers will likely be ruined. But you get always find replacements at BD15 or other places.

You know watching this video and a lot of mmpr toys restoration videos it is amazing that what you do to a toy that is 25 years old and look like you just bought it from toys r us yesterday. What did you use for the beak? It looks smooth and picture perfect? One day I would have to do that to my sons megazords and clean them up. I found the Dino charge morpher at a comic book shop and got it for five bucks. Unfortunately it had battery corrosion in it. So I watched your video on the mobirate and it worked. Love to see more rehauls of your old power ranger toys

I appreciate that! I have a lot more of this type of video planned. I just lack the space to do it properly which often kills my motivation hah. The beak just needed a bit of googone and I use Novus cleaner.
