Jordans the guy you want fishing next to you always. doesn't matter if youre catching the fish. He exemplifies positivity. Aaaaaand he knows a good dog when he sees them. Those Heelers are a handful but they're smart just like he is. Best thing to happen to fishing or this channel was this guy. The most genuine relatable guy you ever hoped you'd meet in the journey that IS fishing.

Thank you guys for showcasing our Indigenous communities and honoring their cultures and legacies. I’m Navajo, and my mom and grandma both taught me how to make frybread our way along with other family staples and I’m so fortunate. The way we do things is very different, but the underlying idea of making do with what we’re given is there among all tribes. Thanks for taking us along for this awesome adventure! 🔥🫶🏼🎣

In Chile we make sopaipillas which is practically, fry bread, almost the same except we also add butternut squash and it gives it a nice sweet kick and orangey color. I always have to try fry bread when it’s available and those looked delicious!

Our reservations are so spread out here I honestly don’t know if they have anything like that here as they have on west coast I wish they did I went to high school with this guy who grew up on a reservation he was cool and down to earth talked even less than me and I don’t talk that much it was a short talk and to the point I don’t remember seeing him the next year of school I was bummed he thanked me for the conversation saying he didn’t meet too many smart people(I’m not that smart I’m just down to earth prefer nature and old school stuff) but I told him same thing but while we had same class we said hi and had small talk oh about a sentence long but i considered him my friend.

Awww! I just missed you guys by a week- I was there with a bunch of buddies the weekend before, fishing the same spot. I built a halibut rod for that trip, and got my first 'butt, cod, and rockfish. It was an incredible trip. It was a saltwater trip, I had couple spare drift rods that I built, to share with my buddies, but no river gear,- just buzz bombs. As soon as we heard the river opened, we ran to the store, grabbed a handful of blue foxes, and I was cutting treble hooks and crimping barbs on the way over. It was sooo fun! Maybe one of these days I'll run into y'all.

You and Brooke should hike the ozette triangle. When you get to the wedding rocks you can see the old petroglyphs carved into the rocks. I used to cover them with a bed sheet and trace them as a kid.
