@@wes_tank I'm convinced that your artistic acumen and literary intellect empowered by an obvious conscience consciousness, being the power source multiplied by a good hearted sensibility, to be the talent quite capable of creating anything my friend, however, I would advise to be weary of reactionism as a method, juxtaposed to generating original content of the meaningful response capabilities of higher intelligence, there is an irony in there though I'm sure,,,lol, either which way, you are a genuine source of positive creativity and inspiration so I sincerely wish you well and to stay true to your art form, kadam makadam ( step by step ) a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and to remember, regardless of adversity, " The show Must Go On ". I agree, definitely feel that there are so many woulda coulda shoulda type situations in life. In my experience they come in the form of perfectionism, even in this video I thought of a bunch of woulda shouldas that coulda made it better after the fact but at a certain point you just gotta hit upload.

@@wes_tank Yeah, I used to be a perfectionist in my creative endeavors too, when I was younger. I used to hate painting, because I couldn't erase my mistakes like pencil drawing. Now that I've had years of falling flat on my face and getting back up again? I actually really like to paint. You get to lean into the mistakes, and make it a part of the art itself.

Yes everyone should go buy the book!!!! It’s definitely hit or miss with the poems being rappable or not, probably why it has taken me this long to make my first shel video. Some tend to resist it and that instinct is important to listen to (see Poe page 47) but others are just bangers like the ones you mentioned. But for some reason when I was recording this something unlocked because poems that seemed meh before suddenly were illuminated, and even when I was editing this and gathering the imagery for the animations I noticed more popping off the page wanting to be performed. I hope I made the right calls.
