@66yurt Actually, the 10" blade has a lot of uses. When It comes to wood prep, a large blade can be your best friend when an axe is too heavy to carry in the bush day in and day out. I always carry a 10" and a 4" blade when I am out, plus a few others just for fun.

OK< comment was very long time ago but did you make or buy the display stand? I was wanting to get stands for knives I buy as some of the knives I buy purely as a collectors piece to look at and others to use.

Anybody who complains about the $200-400 price of one of these Fallkniven knives....go and directly compare it to a Randall knife, or even a bob loveless knife at $15,000 dollars....these Fallkniven are AT LEAST on par regarding workmanship and materials which makes them the absolute bargain of the century. Unbelievable value.

Also, you know these knives are designed to last a life time if cared for.

@faultroy spoken like a true poor. Gotta chime in with "my cheap piece of shit is just as good or better than your fine knife" LOL. You people are amusing.

Sad reality for me is that I've wanted an Idun and Thor since 2011...but I always "forget" to buy them when the time comes for some other knife purchase.

@66yurt Yes, that Thor NL1 is a big one, but actually none of them feel 'too big' in your hand~I think because the balance is good. But thats a heafty piece of steel!!!!

Good to see you finally got around to these! I have been eyeballing a thor and idun combo for some time, and since I am selling off everything I own to travel, maybe now is the time!

Hello Mr. Benson, Beautiful knives, I was looking for a nice camp knife, so I chose the Njord I think I spelled it right? anyhow its the Nl3, the price was a bit high, but after using it, I have no regrets, and it sells itself at camp, not only is it beautiful, but it never failed me yet, thank you for the video, its nice to see my knife in your collection. Best, Paul

@66yurt Ah, your in BC too eh? Nice area I must say : ) Re. the axe, couldn't agree more. I actually picked up one of those Bark River Modified Wetterlings and it is just amazing! My current woods rig is a Fehrman Hoodhunter, Fehrman Peacemaker, Silky Zubat (from Paul) and the axe. Haven't run into any difficulties with that setup... IMO a saw is the most undercarried piece of kit.

Whenever the scandinavians decide to damascus something, they add a ridiculous pricetag to it.

Good God, those together gave me a chub. I've been looking at the Idun, and I can't say I've wanted anything quite that bad since I got my BK5. I wish one would fall into my lap. Well, not literally, I don't think that'd be too good on my groin.
