I really like Bethesda's work here with all those "educational" material vids. They really capture the sarcasm and dark humor in the game with a very simple and... vintage way. Nice artwork Bethesda

@@noran6979 it is better than nothing. If you're hiding under a desk, you will not be looking at the bomb, reducing the chances of instant blindness. You will also be out the way of shattering glass, and less likely to die if the roof caves in. Not to mention, a desk will definitely protect against Alpha particles. Videos like this are how I knew before the game was released that Fallout 4 was going to be excellent, and it is. Between this and the E3 presentation it really showed that Bethesda was actually putting effort into the game. Well, that and the voiced protagonist, that was easily one of the best decision they could've made. That's also sadly how I knew Fallout 76 was going to be terrible. Their presentation was godawful and the concept was worse. The fact that it turned out to be a buggy (Even for Bethesda games!) clearly half finished mess was just the natural progressing of Bethesda not giving a shit.
@immortalfrieza
2 жыл бұрын
@Murkadelic What Bethesda was trying to do with 76 was break into the MMO market, and like nearly all of the companies who try that, they're just after that sweet sweet subscription or microtransaction money. That's why 76 was a buggy half assed piece of crap at launch, as long as people shelled out at the start they had no real reason to care. They never expected there would be anywhere near the level of backlash that there was.
@immortalfrieza
2 жыл бұрын
@Murkadelic I'd like to actually own video games that I've bought once more. On that note, less than $60. The invention of digital downloadable content should have caused video game prices to plummet. The reason being digital downloads can be produced in potentially infinite quantities for no cost whatsoever. Digitally downloadable games are able to sell at a fraction of the cost and still make out like bandits due to a lack of overhead. Then games gotten at a Brick and Mortar store should've lowered their own price to compete or just gone the way of the dinosaur. Instead, they've not only upped the price to $60 dollars, they keep the prices shelves and at the digital stores the same. On top of all that, the industry has been pushing to INCREASE the price of video games beyond the ridiculous price they're already at.
