2:19 Holy Innocents Church Bells:8 Tenor:12-1-20 Weight:711.0 Note:F These bells were originally owned by St James Church from Birch in Rusholme in 1980. In 1982, they were rehung at the Holy Innocent's church in Fallowfield.

The first building has an amazing hi tech roof and i love to see round churches although my though on churches are a bit strange to most. At 4;38 it is a great shot of what i call a hi tech roof i would also say that that building along with the first one will have lower levels, i also love the toast rack and fried egg architecture. Great video.

Burgons in the early sixties had a mobile shop going around Wythenshawe, Dot was the shop girl, Albert was the driver.

Thanks for posting this. The Burgos Sign refers to the firm for which it was built Burgons Ltd were one of the largest grocers in South Manchester and occupied the corner of the building below the sign. At one time the Post Office occupied the centre of this parade of shops. The parade opposite Owens Park is Kings Parade and the little chapel is Platt Chapel - one of the oldest Noncomformist chapels in Manchester. After it closed it became home to the Manchester Amateur Photographic Society.
