My uncle once brought a therapist in training that he was dating along on a family beach weekend. She promptly misplaced her personal journal and accused 13yr old me of stealing it because, of course, the lone adolescent male present was absolutely dying for access to her innermost thoughts. She really went out of her way to turn it into a big deal and managed to cause a lot of shouting matches and hurt feelings along the way. They found the journal sitting on a table in my uncle's house when they returned. He apologized, she twisted it around to still be my fault somehow in her head and refused to.

Britain vs. America in a nutshell

His British accent is so thick. No one would be fooled into thinking this actor was American. The British usually do great American accents.

Completely disagree. The British do stereotypical American accents. I can always tell.

That actor Douglas Hodge is capable of doing a good American accent though. He had a good one in the black mirror episode Black Museum and most Americans probably wouldn't have thought any different.
