Me too ha ha It’s interesting how a song from 70 years ago is so memorable but a song from last year will be easily forgotten…

That's how timeless and well written a song can be.

R.I.P. James Baskett aka Uncle Remus and the voice of Br’er Fox 🦊 (1904 - 1948) 😢 I wish Disney would just release Song of the South and bring back Splash Mountain to honor him! Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Day!

I didn't realize that he was Brer Fox 🦊 and the crow I saw this movie once.. I had a bootleg movie I had gotten at a hobby show and many years later I lost it to a fire 🔥 it's a shame you can't find it on KZitem or Disney it's just like Gone With the Wind from the Civil War both had depiction of slavery and both movies 🎥 had Hattie McDaniel

As a kid I remember loving the stories and songs of Uncle Remus and of course the Disney animation… I still love the movie as an adult but can definitely understand the unwanted attention to the times of segregation.. I’m glad I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s with great neighbors no matter what color.. Thanks for watching and sharing your memories :)
