Many who were also born rich, in wealthy places with "nice" families and studied at amazing schools turned out to be bad people... politicians, presidents, monarchs... it does help if someone is raised with love and stability, but it's not all. @@tabithaedie It was very normal, and babies had been dressed as babies for many centuries -- basically forever. It was mostly due to practicality, in that clothes were very expensive and most couples would have several children. Even toddlers and young children were usually dressed similarly for everyday, typically a roughly knee-length dress/tunic of some type over hose/leggings. It wasn't until inexpensive ready-to-wear clothing became easily available (after WWI and over the next few decades depending on country and region therein) that styles changed. He then was in the government , first sea Lord in WW1 and became PM in 1940 just before the fall of France. The boys dressed as girls thing was more about the need to have convenient access for nappy and linen changes. Hence all infants and toddlers wore skirts and loose tunics.
