I have been crocheting for a few years and ANYTHING that helps save time in the long run I will use! There is nothing wrong with using “markers”, so novice handcrafters don’t feel you are at beginner level by doing so. Lovely pattern and tutorial btw!

Thank you for this pattern, my gram was a crocheter with the tiny thread using this stitch a lot, she could make beautiful table cloth's and doilies. I always wanted her to teach me this pattern but she always said I needed to crochet for a while before I tried to do the fan and v stitch. You made it look easy and easy to follow. I'm a visual learner so I think I can do it finally! I'm sure going to give it a shot. 😊

My grandma also crocheted a tablecloth with this pattern using a fine thread. I’m so happy Tiffany made this tutorial for us. ♥️ My grandma also made several doilies for me just before I got married. I’m passing on the art of crocheting to my 3 daughters now... nothing as fine as my grandma made, but blankets and throws they can enjoy or gift to loved ones.

Love learning crochet patterns/stitches and Tiffany is a great teacher. I consider myself an intermediate crocheter and I love challenges and want to start making my own apparel creations, but need guidance as to ways to construct a top, a cardigan, a jacket, etc. and what adjustments to make when using same pattern for different yarn weights, etc. I'm especially looking for shortcuts to create designs with less pieces to join together and how to make size adjustments., This would be great for beginners, too! I also love to incorporate decorative edgings and vary stitch patterns in the same project. Hoping Tiffany will put some of these suggestions into her tutorials.

Hi Chalice Guard! I am in the same spot you are in. Wanting to make apparel creations! That is a major goal of mine because I would absolutely wear everything I made. I too have sought out information or learning materials to help figure this out and really haven’t found anything other than dissecting crochet patterns for different garments and figuring out any patterns or similarities I can make note of. But if I can put together some good notes I would absolutely be willing to share what I find. 😊❤️🧶

Beautiful pattern Tiffany, I can't wait to try this out and yes stitch markers are a blessing in disguise they save hours of repeatedly counting how many chains we have worked, take care, stay well and thanks for the tutorials.

Love the look of this pattern, it's beautiful. Was wondering if this is a yarn eater pattern?
@CrochetWithTiffany
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Camper! That is a great question. I don’t think so because the pattern is pretty light not dense. And we are using a lot of Dc stitches not tiny tight stitches. 😉❤️🧶

Absolutely you can! I actually did use a bigger hook than the recommended size on the yarn label. But if you go larger the pattern will absolutely be more spread out and Lacy like you mentioned.

Can I use size 6 yeast ? Or do I have to use size 4?
@CrochetWithTiffany

Hi Barbie! You can absolutely use a size 6 weight yarn! Just accommodate with a crochet hook that will work best with this size yarn, maybe on the looser end, and you should be fine! 😊🧶🧡

What exactly does “worsted yarn” mean?
@CrochetWithTiffany
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Brenda! Worsted yarn just stands for the size of the thickness of the yarn. A worsted weight yarn is generally between a size 3-4 weight yarn leaning more towards a 4 weight yarn. 3 weight yarn is generally also known as a light worsted. I hope this helps! 😊❤️🧶
