I love these, yet another reason to buy pebeos! I have been experimenting with polymer bezels, and just haven't had the best luck because A. Not having stamps yet and B. tools in general, while starting out, haven't given me my favorite of looks. Thanks for showing me what I would like to regenerate

Andrea, your comment made my day! Thank you for the kind words. I'm so glad to hear I've managed to inspire and encourage you. There is a lot we can do with just the things on hand if we only look around us with new eyes. But then again, cool tools are fun to play with, too! Happy creating 😁

IT IS TRUE! I always get extra chop sticks, like for what you are doing here with your sticks. And just saving all plastic utensils from to-go foods, as well, containers from them or from tv dinners. The dollar store has a lot, too. I use lace from an old piece left from fabric, or old clothing, either to add the texture or for threads I need to macrame or bows. I use the tops of recycled gatorade/water bottles for cutting tools, different sizes, or to use as tiny round bowl for holding resin/paints/modpodge. I now see a cookie that I would like to make a texture from! LOL I use papertowel rolls to hold my bracelets while braiding or doing macrame, I can hold it between my legs in an Indian pose. So, I definitely utilize what I have! Stamps, tho, STAMPS I NEED IN MY LIFE!!! hahaha thanks for rwplyingm, your items are beautiful.

Very lovely! Can you add more clay and make your own bales, is the gloss and paint oven safe?

I've had no problems with Magic Glos burning in the oven at polymer clay temps. however sometimes it does turn amber. So I'd do that step last. You'll have to find a way to keep your piece level when applying the resin if the bail makes it not lie flat. The mica powders are fine in the oven, but I haven't tried baking the Pebeos. At some point in the future I'll test it out. If you do a test, let us know!

Pieces turning amber, usually is the result for me too. And for keeping your piece level after adding a clay bale, just place it on a bed of uncooked rice. I just remembered that little trick ;) So I kinda answered my own question.

Hi Crystal, I'm so glad to hear I've inspired you! That's always my goal with every video. My photography setup isn't fancy. In the past year I've been relying more on natural light and I think it's made a big difference. Right now I'm happy with the pics I get from my iPhone 6. In the nice weather I shoot outside on a beat-up old deck or a weathered picnic table. Although both of those look like rather a mess, it amazes me how great they look close up as backdrops. If it's sunny out I use a filter/reflector to soften the light, but I try to plans the times so I'm not in bright sunlight. In these colder months I photograph inside next to a north facing window. That window has semi-sheer white curtains that I can close and filter any harsh light. For indoor shoots I have a ceramic tile with a mottled background and a faux wood plaque that I use as backdrops. I also like to have props to lean the jewelry on to lift it up and give more interesting angles. A sprinkling of the beads or other components used in the project gives some context and adds to the composition. My photos are far from professional, but I keep learning and trying to get better. They've definitely improved since I started! Hope you find this helpful, Crystal! :-)

Make sure to take note that you should ventilate your work space well when using these paints (especially with all your bottles open at once!) because those solvents are pretty noxious.

Thank you for that, Dana! I can't smell so I didn't realize. My family often mentions to me if things are stinky, but they haven't yet with the Pebeos. Happy (and safe) creating!

DMS Dana I was about to comment on the smell or fumes ...I am new to those .and I am very sensitive to scents so I found them strong..but i open the window and work near the window.
