That summer sky that once seemed so endless...
Melancholy ahoy with MatsudaToki! I'm not really old enough for this to impact me greatly, but I can imagine this will resonate strongly with a lot of people. Great work on Dal's part with the lyrics, I found them very catchy and engaging, and MatsudaToki's excellent tuning is a good compliment to both the Gumi version and the origina-original live-action song. I opted to refer to the Gumi version as the "original", since that's what MT used for this song.
I suppose it's a bit weird how I always translate UTAU covers of songs instead of their Vocaloid equivalents, but man, the translation still fits and sometimes the UTAU version is just outright better. No offense to the original producers, it's probably more the fault of the Vocaloids. Oh, and of course, the original video has all the other credits of the people who worked on the original. I didn't list them here.
Next week: Yukari Yuzuki, how about that? One of my favorite underdog Vocaloids. Have you heard Balsam? It's like, one of the best Vocasongs of all time, in my opinion.
Disclaimer: As I am but a humble student of the Japanese language, the translations might not be 100% accurate. For this I apologize. However, rest assured that I will keep improving and thus provide you with more accurate subs.
