Horses: The average lifespan of a domestic horse is 20 to 30 years. Climate is also considered important. Horses living in warm regions live 10 years longer than horses living in the vast northern areas. On average, wild horses live from 15-20 years. Many horses live over thirty years, much longer than the oldest cats or dogs. In fact, they can live well beyond 30 if properly cared for.
Sheep: The average lifespan of a sheep is 10 to 12 years. However, some sheep have been recorded to live up to 20 years. The age of a sheep can be determined by looking at its incisor teeth in the first few years of life. Each set of baby teeth is replaced by a larger adult tooth. The full set of eight adult incisors appears around the age of 4.
Goats: Goats are herbivores, primarily eating grass and leaves. They consume almost any type of grass and foliage they encounter. Goats are also very active and often like to cause mischief wherever they go. Additionally, at certain times, goats need to supplement their diet with starch.
