I am probably biased living here though hehe.

i feel similar to what you said about international travel > domestic! i have moved to england around 8 years ago and never really explored the country beyond london, where I settled - when the pandemic closed a lot of traveling doors and airports, I have started to explore around the country, the countryside, seaside, the old english villages, and it's beautiful and definitely worth the time. i think often we forget about how vast our countries are, much beyond the capitals and big cities - we forget until we leave or until something pushes us into turning our eyes towards it. happy exploring! can't wait to see more vlogs like these

Holy Doodle, the countryside was breathtaking. Imagine once everything is completely green; I miss living in the country so much. I actually grew up in the bush in Northern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 where there was about 8 families, a hydroelectric power plant and a dam. I hated the schools I went to (grade 5 I spent in a 2 room schoolhouse) because they were far away and took so long to get to because of the dirt roads. I loved the wildlife and the abundance of blueberries and mushrooms and so many rocks to climb up and sandy beaches (lots of leeches though) and it was bear country; I loved the wildlife so much and I'd spend hours watching owls and stargazing which was spectacular because there was no light pollution and the stars seemed so big and so close. Oh, I can't forget about the moose. It was magical and I'm trying my best to move back there, but money is my biggest obstacle right now. 😢 We'd sometimes get a glimpse of the Northern lights but that was rare, however it's still etched in my mind and I can revisit the simple joys I felt way back then. Thanks Tina! This has been the highlight of my day. 🥰
