"You *order* me?? You will never order me again." Aeryn stands up. Always get a little teary-eyed with this scene, One of my alltime favorite TV moments. It's truly a stand-up-and-cheer piece, the affirmation of a life she never knew to value before. Farscape was one of the great ensemble shows, but for me Aeryn Sun was the heart of it - her arc over four seasons and particularly her journey from mindless fascist to a fierce advocate against tyranny. Claudia Black is an under-appreciated actor, bot dramatic and comedic.

"And do you know what I learned while I was away from you? Everything I lost wasn't isn't a damn, and I don't want to go back to your past." Probably my favorite moment of the series, when Aeryn finally confirms to herself and the audience that she's let go, and she's better off now. Love it. And Claudia's delivery is fantastic.

Erin Williams I think that's what changed Crais, those very words applied to him. When he said to Scorpius "A captain has never been subject to this indignity" and to have his words completely ignored, he realised he didn't matter at all.

I always felt that the aurora chair changed both Crighton and Crais. After the chair, Crighton acted perpetually drunk, while Crais took an unbelievable U-turn.

I never considered that before, but i'm inclined to agree with you.... not about Crichton acting drunk, but it being the turning point in Crais's personality

@@mrspicolli It was the point he started his slow descent into madness, in a sort of drunk like confidence of just blindly accepting the really weird situation he finds himself constantly in that's completely alien, almost giving up caring that it doesn't make any sense that the entire universe is after him through no fault of his own. With Crais he likewise gained a level of confidence, but more in regards to his own internal fears and insecurities, almost completely giving up caring how others view him. I guess being forced to look in the mirror deeply, has a way of changing everyone.

i only fear phobophobia crais really did have a crazy character arc and that was something I loved about him all the way up to his death When he did what he did with Talyn, it actually made me really sad and really proud of the man that he had become based off the man I was introduced to. This still will probably remain my favorite sci-fi show and show of all time. They really got to play and they got to get into a whole lot of interesting topics the show was sexy and fun and deep and thought-provoking and interesting… When I saw the last episode I was so pissed off and sad… Until I heard that they closed it up with a movie, and I loved it Wormhole weapon scene… That’s what everything was all building up to you and it was beautifully executed This show is amazing, anyone who disagrees doesn’t know their ass from their elbow

From the moment he sat in the chair, the moment his murder and flagrant ignoring of orders to pursue his own vendetta was proved, he was finished, his choice was made. So a u turn that was forced on him, and believable.

My favorite Aeryn/Crais scene. I swear this is the first time he *really* saw her. Other times he was pretty dismissive. Now he sees her awesomeness, lol.

Just watched this scene straight after the you can be more scene... This is how you develop a character over a series. Over a series, not 5 minuites.

I'm thinking there couldn't be a remake of this show, without serious degradation of its quality. Anyone have an idea who could replace Claudia Black for Aeryn Sun, because I don't?
