Great video ! Last time I was in Sosua I visited the Jewish Museum and could help but admire the courage of the settlers who started with nothing, Although President Trujillo, from that time, may now be considered by history as a dictator, at least he was the only one out of 32 countries who willing to saves Jews from Hitler.

I'd like to make a correction that's indicated in the title. My parents were "settlers",I was born in Sosua a year after they got here.

Out of curiosity, why is "settlers" preferred instead of other words?

Very nice! American blacks need to petition the un and be classified as refugees maybe we could get free land, nucs and our own country. But seriously thank you for sharing your history please write a book so this history is preserved. And how did you stay in such good shape?
@ReJoKi1

May I make a comment here; the land wasn't for "free", just easy credit and paid for over some years of hard work. Our ancestors in Sosua were "given" a marvelous opportunity can't deny that, however remember it resulted from very well meaning people from "The Joint Distribution Committee" of NYC, who were serving as a remedy to the unjust treatment given to them by the Hitler Regime.

@@ReJoKi1 Yes and I stand corrected. But my people had little opportunity to acquire land after our attempted Genocide. We had good intentions initially also.

Thanks for watching! Still need to get my fingers on the pulse with that, I can't stand watching the mayor talk with a face nappy on, but soon it will become clear what they are pushing for, like it was with the previous Mayor.

Thanks, occasionally yes, however about my production priorities now: If we wish to get back to "Normal" then we must focus hard on exposing the bastards that are screwing with all aspects of our lives, tourism, business, liberties etc... let's not be cowards towards our children and grand children leaving them with a shitty tyrannical world full of control freaks and weirdo's, just because it was more important to us to focus on "painting the mast of the ship, while water was gushing in through several cracks in the hull! I hope you get my point, cheers!

Well back then they had an obvious dictator who let them in, now we have a group dictatorship who act like Hitler did - very ironic!
