Today I propose to make a very tasty apple pie.
You can make different variations of this pie. Instead of apples, you can use plums, peaches, nectarines or apricots.
The recipe for such a plum pie is already on my channel. I will leave a link to it in the description under the video.
All products for the test should be at room temperature.
For the test we will need:
- fruit (apples) 300-400 g (10.58-14.11 oz)
- 2 large eggs
- 110 g (3.88 oz) soft butter
- 8 g (0.28 oz) vanilla sugar
- 140 g (4.94 oz) flour
- 7 g (0.25 oz) baking powder
- 150 g (5.29 oz) cane sugar
- 1 pinch salt (0.04 oz)
- 2 tablespoons almond flakes
We also need 2 teaspoons of a mixture of spices and sugar. To do this, mix in a jar:
- 5-6 teaspoons (0.88-1.06 ounces) cane sugar. You can use white sugar.
- 1-2 teaspoons (0.18-0.35 oz) cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoons (0.09 oz) cardamom
We also need powdered sugar for sprinkling the finished cake.
22 cm (8.66 inch) baking dish. The form must be covered with baking paper.
Cooking method:
1. Wash the apples, peel them, remove the core and cut them into large pieces.
2. Using a mixer at low speed, mix the butter with cane sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt.
3. Add eggs one at a time. We continue to mix.
4. Add flour and baking powder. Mix.
5. Distribute the dough along the bottom of the mold.
6. Place the apple pieces, pressing them into the dough.
7. Sprinkle with a mixture of spices and almond petals.
8. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C (356 °F) for 35-40 minutes.
9. Sprinkle the finished cooled pie with powdered sugar.
10. Serve with a scoop of vanilla (creamy) ice cream or whipped cream.
