I've used alot of HSP Pro and really enjoy it for fast skis when I'm training. Some of my wax is starting to "crack" in the tins. Does this affect the efficacy of the wax? Is there a process I should go thru to restore it (like warm the tin in hot water, add some sort of oil, etc)? Thank you again!

What was the difference between the two brushes you used?

At Fast Wax we promote a 3-brush system. First is the Fast Wax Super Fine Stainless Steel Wax Brush, the long fine bristles sweep the wax out of the ski more efficiently than any other brush. Use this brush to clean out the ski base before waxing. Next is the Fast Wax Horse Hair Wax Brush, optimized for bristle length and density, very efficient at removing wax from the ski structure. Use this after you have ironed in and scraped off the wax. Its fine bristles get in to the structure and removes excess wax. Fast Wax Nylon Polishing Brush, is the final touch, puts the shine on the ski for added speed. The large bristle diameter heats up the ski base and pushes wax around to make sure all surfaces have a good coating of wax. It will take dull looking skis and make them look shiny, shiny skis are fast skis! Dan used the Horsehair brush and the Nylon brush in the video.
