Faster running as you age probably depends on several factors: your age, training maturity training plan consistency, strength and mobility, and ill- health/injury tendencies.
Can you say yes to most of my 5 questions? If so, then you have the potential to get faster.
While I am not likely to get faster, I can and will enjoy my running as long as possible.
