Excellent. The quickest, easiest method I've seen so far. Thank you sir.

I had 2x4 secured with cement nail. Tried several methods, no luck. Tried this and it worked just like the guy says. Great idea. Thanks.

Not that it matters but does this method leave half of the nail in the concrete?

Do not use the claw of the hammer or prybar to pull them out. That will make a heckuva hole! This works really good! It’s not perfect every time, but sometimes the nail pops right out and all your left with is a perfect hole!

Any suggestions for patching the divots?
@songcharpentier8274
4 жыл бұрын
I did not patch them . Just put one of those snap together simulated wood floors over it. But if i were to patch. I probably would use that fast dry stuff they sell at home depot or lowes. In the floor section. Its not expensive easy to use just add water an mix .. but my old brain can not think of what its called. Anybody in flooring would know.

Practise makes perfect. A lot of people were squawking about the divots. But as I got better at it, the divots got smaller. And they are covered over anyways.

@@songcharpentier8274 Thank you! I am a single woman and a homeowner. Last home improvement guy I hired to install a door charged me $60 an hour. I like saving money if it's a job I can do myself. Next, is repairing my fence in the backyard.
