I didn’t expect this kid to hold on the way he did. I thought the winner was going to be one of the kids running him down on that last lap. That was insanely impressive!!!

I really didn’t think Matatsa was going to be able to hold on it looked like he was running a 400. He’s got talent.

As only a 1:53 runner in HS that placed 3rd to 1:51 runners at State Track Meet, this 148 is way next level for HS

The announcer gotta get himself in there..."I ran 1:46"!! Not about you dude!! And the race was won and lost on the last turn. As Leath got up he seemed to have slowed a bit due to the bank and...that was that! But a smoking race!!

That is not the fastest indoor 800M race by a high school athlete. My cousin Wil Sumner ran a 1:48.14 800M last year indoors to become the 2nd fastest high school runner ever. The fellow that won this race is the 3rd or 4th best high school indoor 800M runner.
