Glad you're back. Enjoy your musings, even if a bit cynical at times. And of course love the Fat Boy. Hope to see more. P.S. Looking back at your earlier vids and gotta say I'm definitely partial to the Fat Boy stock and thinking of looking out for a standard (love chrome) 2016 or 2017 version. P.P.S. Your N.Y. accent (one of the many reasons I LOVE N.Y.) has definitely waned over the years ! LOL

I can be cynical, an undeniable flaw. The accent comment is perceptive. Best of luck on the fat boy search.

Coming up on my second season for my '16 fat boy s - stoked to see someone having a channel w/the same ride! Just got some viking lamellar slanted bags to help w/my commute to work and back... contemplating shocks as my next step. Bars, exhaust, tuner, saddle, little odds & ends, bags, tires... now I feel like shocks should be my next step! Worth looking into?

Cool. Glad to hear of someone using one of these regularly. I did at least one video sharing my impressions of the progressive rear shocks and progressive front drop in kit. They may a significant improvement in removing squat on acceleration and front dive on hard braking. Also set mine for a higher ride height than stock for a little more clearance. For the money, I’d recommend these. The complexity and cost of air suspension just wasn’t for me. No matter what we do, these fat boys are limited by their limited suspension travel. The progressive replacements made a big difference though.

I remember the video where ur bike would shut off... have you thought of buying the cylinder fans? (Not sure exactly what they are called) I saw them on another you-tubers bike and he said they seem to help.

I was doing 90mph for nearly an hour in 90 degree heat. I just don’t need to do that and it hasn’t been a problem since. If it happens again under less extreme circumstances I’ll do something about it.
