I love the music but their stance on communism is ambiguous to me. Is the embrace of communism satirical or do they think communism is a good idea? I suppose it doesn’t really matter.

I have no idea. Their use of nazi imagery and the n word, and apparently cremating an image of a fascist historian also troubles me, but they’re not fascists. Maybe they’re just like, bad at being communists? I’m a bit conflicted. But I’m still getting push notifications about the music so I guess they were vague enough for whatever offence to be caused without pissing anyone off enough

Toby Sinbad Walker they’re just edgy communists. Idc one way or another, and though i like this track, they’re too self-serious now and lack the energy they had when i saw them live a few years ago. Big fan of Insecure Men, though. Anyway, opinions are like assholes.

Someone please put me out of misery. The photo in the frame that Nathan carries in the video and which get's lobbed on the fire towards the end of the song is of course meant to reference Aleister Crowley - but it's not actually a photo of the 'Great Beast' hisself..right? I'm talking about at 4:55 etc I'm pretty sure I recognise the person as a UK character actor..(whose name escapes me..) but maybe it's just some randon Crowley look-a-likee.... anyone know? I wonder if there were 'issues' ahout using his image in the video.. or they just thought it was funny... or... i dunno.. anyone know? Oh and 3 + years on this song and the album from whence it came still rules.. ta
