I want to thank you for posting this. I was raised Baptist, but went through the RCIA program with the intention of joining the Catholic faith. However, I didn’t go through with it predominantly because I wasn’t comfortable with the amount of focus placed on Mary, which is a huge discrepancy between these two denominations. And though I’ve had wonderful mentors and influences that have helped me along in the Catholic Church, I’ve never heard the honoring of Mary explained so thoroughly and wonderfully. I am so glad I found your channel, and I genuinely thank you for making this video and sharing your testimony. It’s been the influence I needed to give me that push forward into joining the Church and becoming a Catholic. Thank you and God bless.

As someone who just entered the faith this year, I'm praying for you! Might I suggest one resource that might help with the question of Mary by referring you to a series on EWTN called The Journey Home. Many converts talk about their experiences and hurtles coming into the Catholic faith and this question of Mother Mary most always comes up. Love hearing the different answers of how they came to love and honor her as Christ did.

After listening to Heather she brings me closer and closer to Mary and Her Son, and like her i will never leave the Catholic church and any and all times i am in the presence of Her image or rosary my heart races and the need to kneel to Her

Hello Heather, thank you for this video. I am catholic since birth and been part of COLL (Confraternity of Our Lady of Lourdes). As I grew up, i lost my devotion to Mama Mary. Now that I am married, I keep praying that one day I can start a devotion to Mama Mary once again. I am trying my best to pray the rosary daily.

Hey it's so nice seeing how much love you have for Mary ❤️ I recently started to give my Catholic a chance because I almost left due to the fact Tht I knew so little about my Catholic faith and was approach by some Protestants who made me question sooo many things about Catholicism... But besides all Tht I was able to decide Tht I should give my original faith, Catholicism, a chance... It's been pretty hard because I have so many questions but I been learning almost everyday new things... However from the very beginning I've always had a hard time about Mary /: but I see how much love you have for her and I wanna experience Tht as well, I pray the rosary even tho it took a while for me to pray it.. But I don't know if you got any advice for me on Tht?

@@elenalove3791 Something that helped me in seeing Mother Mary as someone who is a most powerful intercessor was the fact that one of God's very own commandments was 'honor thy father and thy mother.' If Jesus honored his mother, then I should too. For her reward in heaven would be great for being the mother of God. And as all loving mother's are, she will help take care of the needs of her children, US, because remember Jesus calls us his brothers and sisters so if we are adopted into the family of Christ, that makes Mary OUR mother as well. Hope this helps with a little different perspective. God bless and keep you always!

I was raised Protestant and have been to many different denominations. I never heard anyone say to pray to Mary or even speak about her! Other than she gave birth to Jesus! They also never speak about the Father! Only at Christmas when they say He sent His Son! When they mention God they are talking about The Son of God NOT God The Father! After I left the Protestants I REALLY learned to know The God The Father! Not the same as God The Son. Thankfully I am aware of that doctrine.

NOTE: MY COMMENTS TEND TO BE LONG, BUT I KNOW AS I HAD PRAYED THAT OUR BLESSED MOTHER GUIDES ALL SOULS TO THEM WHO NEED TO KNOW OF THE THINGS I'VE LEARNED THROUGH CAREFUL STUDY FOR MYSELF OF THE TRUE TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC FAITH AND IT'S TEACHINGS, SO THAT THEY MAY BE HELPFUL TO OTHERS!!! Thank you for another uplifting video for us Catholic Mums or Mom's as you would say in the States. I would just like to say that for those Catholics who believe in the Prophecies, and there are many others also where Our Blessed Mother has appeared, such as La Salette, Akita, and Garabandal, all of which have been approved by the Catholic Church after much investigation and being put through rigorous scientific, psychological, and medical examination, as well as spiritually through the Church itself, through intensive questioning, examining, and witnessing of the events and the supernatural happenings surrounding them, of which gives them their credibility. These do not contradict Catholic Dogma, and important Church Doctrinal teachings, and they tend to be similar and do not contradict each other, in terms of messages, and warnings presented to the world. However Catholics need to be very careful and vigilant also, and to use caution particularly in t'hose few which are not approved as authentic by the Catholic Church, there is great danger in accepting those. Often there are thing's which are not quite right with those and we need to understand the Church's position and reasoning for that. Often you'll find, there are some marked differences, and inconsistencies where as those which are authentic remain consistent throughout, so there can be no doubt about them. These others we are called to be wary of, often also will have some yet often slight and easily overlooked contradictions to our Catholic faith, and Doctrines. Also I would urge Catholics to look into these approved Apparitions of Our Blessed Heavenly Mother, because she is desperate for us to hear her call, with much urgency, and her warnings to us all and in deed the world, must be listened to and heeded. She want's us to get closer to her son, and she brings us to him, to her son Jesus whom she loves so much and wants us to do the same. Our Mother warned that we have offended Our Lord, too much and for too long, she urges us all to Pray daily every day, and to pray the Rosary, as it is our link to Our Lord Jesus christ, through Our Heavenly Mother. It is her most Blessed Devotion to her Son, and reveals her sorrows over her son's "Passion",sufferings, and his crucifixion, and death, the sacrifice he made for our sins and for the sins of the world, and the Rosary reminds us of these major events in the time-line of Jesus life, they are what we call the " Mysteries", of our faith. In Praying the Rosary, she connects us to her son Our Lord, through these most Blessed meditations, in which we reflect upon and meditate upon, those important "Mysteries", of Our Lord Jesus life, and all his sufferings he went through to save us so as we could enter heaven and have eternal life. In meditation it is important to truly focus on these "Mysteries", to envision in our minds, and imagine those "Mysteries", as they would have occured in Jesus time. In that we are able to connect with Jesus, though our hearts, and in our mind's and in our bodies, to truly, feel the pain, suffering and anguish of what he went through for us. Part of it is to also acknowledge these thing's as they happened knowing in our hearts for those of us who truly believe that they really happened, and it is important for us to show our compassion for him, for what he did for us. That is why after each Rosary we must pray and give Thank's to Our Lord, for all he has done and suffered for us, and this is why Repentence is also so very necessary also and Our Lady calls for us to Repent, Repent, Repent, and make Reparation for our sins regularly and daily, as Our Mother urges us to. As well as praying the Rosary, there are other important Catholic prayers which every Catholic should know, that we must also pray, and we must pray for others, the sick, the dying, and for those poor souls in purgatory. Importantly also we are urged that we must all Pray for Priests, Bishop's and the Pope, as well as for the Church, and we must also not forget to attend Holy Mass on Sundays, and have Our Holy Communion, as well as attending Church on those other Holy days of obligation. We must also go to Confession, do Penance, Pray the "Act of Contrition",give thank's to our Lord, obey the commandments, dutifully uphold the "Acts of Mercy". We must do what the Catechism teaches us, and the best "Catechism", to use is a teaching one, like those they used to use in the Catholic schools to teach students of the Catholic faith the Catechetical teachings of which it provided, such as " The Penny" or " Baltimore", Catechism. They taught Catholic School children back in the day the true fundamental doctrinal teaching's of the Church and faith, the essentials of which all Catholics were then taught they must live by. However this practice is virtually obsolete today, sadly, another reason for Our Lady appearing, is that many have lost the faith, and are not being taugh the true Catholic faith, as it was once taught. To finish I'd just like to add that as those following the Catholic Prophecies, would already be aware, this Church age is going to come to an end real soon, and as our Blessed Mother, can't hold back her son's anger and wrath over the sins, and Apostasy of mankind any longer, he'll unleash a punishment upon mankind, and will use Russia to do so. Many of the Prophecies predict this, and although the Church does not make it mandatory for us to believe in or follow these prophecies it is sheer ignorance if we choose to over look them, and would not be good when we come before Our Dear Lord for judgement. It has been recommended by many Catholic Mystics, including "Padre Pio", to prepare for the coming three days of Darkness, one must have a specially blessed candle, by an "Ordained Catholic Priest", and it must be made of pure bees wax, and a 72 hr burning one, a Crucifix, also blessed, Holy water, their Rosaries, and other sacramentals, such as "Scapulars", and "The Miraculous medal". We should also have handy the selection of Catholic Prayers, and do all the thing's of which those messages have told us to do. God Bless.

I love our Blessed Heavenly Mother also, so very much, so hearing you say how much you love her too, so touched my heart so much, and I was saying: " Me too, me too!" Recently I discovered an apparition of her that is not very well known, and the prophecies she foretold, was to a spanish mystic in the 16th century, I don't know if you know of this one, where "Our Lady," goes under the title of: "Our Lady of Good Success." Apparently from what I'd read, and it is most fascinating to read, is that the prophecies were actually intended for our time, but the Church, or should I say the Vatican, had suppressed it, for similar reasons as to the "third secret of Fatima," they didn't want people knowing about it. However she is intended for us, in our time, and it states also that she wants to be known, the visionary states this. "She wants to be known," it also says in all of the information on this particular visitation of our "Blessed Mother," that because she so much wants to be known, and it isn't well known, she promises to all those who share and make known, "Our Lady of Good Success," and her story of her apparitions to the 16th century Spanish Mystic, would receive many Blessings. It's also worth noting that the Mystic being from the time of the 16th century, a time so far removed from our own, had been shown things that would happen in our time, a time so far removed from her own, and so accurately that they can't be ignored, and which has been revealed as "Our Lady's insurance policy," which explains why they had it suppressed, because it backs up perfectly, both Fatima and Akita, so if you haven't already, please check her out, she want's to be known, and she want's to be made known, so be sure to make a video about her, or tell friends, family, and the people at your Parish, it is so important. May God Bless you.

A Catholic Mom's Life Becareful of the enemy. In the spiritual whelm demons attack people. I suggest you to stop praying to saints and pray to Jesus (God) instead. There is only one mediator and that is Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. I hope you will understand. ❤️ You can follow me on instagram @gracehopemercy No saints can hear your prayers. This is the truth. Remember Lazarus, Jesus said He was asleep. So how can Mary hear our prayers when she is asleep? Jesus is coming back soon to raise the dead in Christ and gather the elects. Pray to God my sister ❤️🙏 and ask Him you want to know the truth. Blessings! ✝️

Kiki Tam Jesus had not died when Lazarus was asleep. Because of his death all the saints especially Mary, are with him and in heaven. They hear our prayers to Jesus and pray for us along with us. It’s not prayer directly to them, it’s prayer through them. Anyway, I’m not catholic, I’m orthodox, but we have similar views.

My devotion and relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary is nothing to be ashamed of. Even the Eastern Orthodox Christians have no shame of showing their devotion to her. As for various Protestant Christians, they believe that praying to the Virgin Mary is a form of idolatry. Which is not entirely true. The Holy Rosary is one of my favorite devotions to Mary. As for explaining the Holy Rosary to Protestants, it’s really hard for me to explain. And as a Knight of Columbus, I do whatever it takes to defend the Catholic faith and my devotion to Mary. That’s what I stand for. Catholics and Eastern Orthodox Christians, prove me right. Protestants, prove me wrong.

When we pray the Rosary we are simply asking Mary to pray with us. Same as if you would ask your friend to pray for you. Asking someone to pray with us is never a sin. Protestants believe we are worshiping Mary and that is simply not true. On the Cross Jesus gave us is mother! It is beautiful and we should always love her since she wants nothing more then to bring us to her son.

When you really look at all that Mother Mary endured thru Her life for us, to see Her Son murdered before Her and the fact that it was SHE and John that remained to the very end, everyone else abandoned Him/ Christ at the end. It was Her that stood at the foot of the cross. How She still loves us with all She has and leads us straight to Christ never to Herself is amazing. And, the fact that it was HER yes that opened the door to our salvation. The fact that every protestant ignores, overlooks, and rejects ,denies love and appreciation to Her when it was Her yes that saved them is appauling to me. How can you Not love and adore Her? Not worship She would never allow that but honor Her. They are missing so much not honoring Her or asking for Her help and Her love and comfort. The way they turn from her is just appauling to me. But, to me it proves how WRONG their "religion " is.

I heard Mary appeared at Međugorje and said all people born out of marriage are going to hell? This is what she said to one to the children who transmitted her message.

I don't believe that because is love and you only go to hell or heaven based on what you dohere on earth and based on your relationship with God.

John O'Doherty, don't worry about this statement...I'm sure Our Lady would never say that...but rather, these words might have been mistakenly channeled through some old, close-minded beliefs of Catholic religious which linger on in our collective consciousness.

Not true. God is merciful and loves us all as if there were only one of us, regardless of how we are conceived. Also, for the record, the Vatican hasn’t officially approved Medugorje as a legitimate apparition

In the OT, God did not reveal any physical form. In Jesus, He chose to take a physical form and guess what...Jesus would looked like Mary. He chose her genes after all. Her Fiat Mihi paved way to the Incarnation.

Only thing i disagree is when you say that we don't need mary to go to heaven because it's not true. We can not truly say we love jesus without loving his mother. For example if someone spend the rest of their life direspecting the mother, i don't think jesus is happy about it and it can cost them their salvation because jesus has such good relationship with his mother, when people curse the mother they also curse the son.jesus wants all to love and hornor his mother like he does.

No offense, but why do you pray to Mary? There´s not written anywhere in the Bible that anyone should pray to her or anybody else besides God. We are supposed to pray only to God. Not to people or saints. Why ask for her intercession, when we can pray to directly to God? Jesus intercedes for us.

@@ACatholicMomsLife If God wanted people to pray to Mary, He would say so. He never said that. As I said, we don´t need to ask Mary for intercession, because Jesus intercedes for us. And if you say the Bible is catholic, could you explain to me your biblical reason for praying to Mary? Again, I'm not trying to be offensive, I'm just genuinly trying to understand your conviction. ☺️

i have only 1 mistake about the catholic church and that is I believe Mother Mary is the mother oj jesus christ other than so much beauty,Even though they believe most of them will even with thier imperfections I can c y The Catholic chucrh .we haven't even reached the 3 days of darkness..The Church is the number1 christian church on the planet and there are over 2000 christian religions(who claim 2 b christians). The Jehova's witness Church is okay but I wouldn't suggest 2 join.Even though they believe most of them will survive Armegdon in my opinion nobody will.the people who live under ground won't survive the earthquakes or volcano's,people who are outside will die immediately.this is nothin 2 worry about ,even though concentration camps r already built is futile.nothing 2 worry about ,if your inside when it happens keep away from any window.Armeggdon isn't due till the next milliinium..best advice never stop praying to our spiritual queen.I beleive saint Bernadette was the number 1 spitrual queen that ever walked the earth, all the best and god bless the planet earth love always Jadexx
