I love my Lo Storto Open Comb. Always nice to have another Open Comb made of brass. I find it very comfortable, it's basically my daily driver (all though I don't shave daily). Fatip razors are criminally underrated. It seems everyone is more into Gillette, Merkur, and the other big brands.

Bought an R41 due to this channel and then a Fatip Special edition...both razors are great and this channel is criminally underrated 😭 Keep up the good work, get the Fatip gentile and use with Timor blade, works really well 👍

Thank you for your kind comments and I'd like to congratulate you on such good choice in razors. You will get many years of great shaving from them. Regarding my channel, I sometimes do wonder why certain videos get so few views and a video of a guy making a silly noise gets 20 million views!

Good video and review. I have ordered a Lo Storto as love the R41. I don't like the faff of the DE89 where it fails to clear the stubble after 4 passes. Good content and I appreciate the in depth detail on what the razor itself is like and how it shaves👍

Thank you. Yes, the DE89 is too mild but some guys probably have to use it! Try the Muhle R94? Incredible.

@@alamore5084 I bought one, it’s stainless steel and while it looks mild and has no rake, it’s the best razor out there. Not as close as the R41 but far smoother.

@@KRAZEEIZATION I have both, my first Fatip, the Lo Storto very recently. The Rocca so far has been the most fun razor I've used in my collection. Unique design without the lather channels. It has very loud audible feedback which makes it so fun to use and feel the cutting. The handle is also quite unique - I have the black one which has a rubberized coating and is the grippiest handle I've ever used. The razor is head heavy with this light handle so it can force you in using steeper angles. Recently, I learned a lot about blade rigidity and why Fatips are so good. They really clamp the blade well and prevent blade vibration, chattering. I have a very coarse beard and issues with most razors not performing well enough. I find the Fatip I have to be the best I've used ATG. Thanks to the forums I just lost interest in almost all DE razors. So my next purchase is Fatip Piccolo. The Tatara open comb offerings also have a rigid design and are quite unique. It's also interesting they have a table of possible cap, base combinations and the resulting blade exposures. But I think the Fatip would deliver the ultimate performance ATG by design. Next step after that would be to try an SE with their 3x thicker blades.

I cut myself with that razor every time in my moustache area. When you don't cut yourself in 2 years and then switch to Fatip and cut yourself 14 times in a row, that can be demoralizing. I also bought mine at Gifts&Care.

I’m sorry to hear that. Maybe use the slightest pressure you can? This razor isn’t perfect that’s for sure but mine does not nick me.
