I've played this a few times and I've never seen anyone get a herder before ;)

At 12:20 it appear that there are 2 1's, 2 2's, 1 3, and 1 4, so there is still a 50/50 chance of getting odd or even.

+rahdo Hurrah! I was waiting for a good -old-fashioned video runthrough of the Essen list. You have almost evolved beyond my meager capabilities to keep up!

I think you got the setup wrong. You should place the tiles below the costs of their own color. Greetings, man. I'm watching all the way from the Netherlands, the country of a big fan of yours: Bastiaan from Nox' Spellenzolder (Nox' Game Attic). I'm looking forward to see his review of this game as well.

+William Wilting yup, this very dumb oversight was noted in the vids and in the show notes :)

Can you explai the setup rules. I cannot find one video that explains it. For example; do all cards in each stack have to be the same? How many in each stack? I get the symbol on each tile must match the symbol on the bar. I get that you can keep only 1 card per stack, so I guess that means ALL cards in a stack are the same? In a 2 player game, do you add 2 cards per stack, so each player has a chance to obtain any card? At 15’30” I see Jen gets a Worker, the only one. So in a 2 player game, just 1 tile per slot? Or do you put more than that depending on what bar/level the tile is places at? I can only infer all this info based on all the gameplay vid I see but I find it interesting that nobody explains the setup rules. They kinda of fall out while they play but dang it would be nice to hear the setup rules BEFORE the gamplay starts.

And a few more questions; do do you ALWAYS get 3 rolls by default? (Unless stated otherwise on an aquired tile). And what is the point of those pyramaid pieces? For tracking locked dice?

You forgot to flip the influence track back over of the lowest level at 5:15 and left it on the example side.

+burgsrus ah, well you can choose them randomly, so it's all good :)

@10:45 How can you tell that the Palace Key is one time use? The iconography is identical to the Serf's iconography.
@Amaraxis

+Khift The color of the power tile states whether it is a one use, every turn, etc.

do you need all even or do you just need three even dice? the iconography makes me think it's three but that's the only reason I ask.
@rahdo

aren't you suppose to set up the red and blue tiles to the right and the yellow to the left?
@rahdo
9 жыл бұрын
+mkangelis oh maybe so! there is something in the rules about using dice to determine where tiles go, but i just ignored that and chose randomly! hmm. will have to look into that :)
