I know this is an older video, but your videos are super helpful to me! I’m returning into teaching music after about 20 years of being home and taking care of my kiddos. I’m going to teach homeschoolers in a co-op once a week. The parents are super excited , since their co-op has never had music before! Excited and nervous! Thanks for your help!

Hello Iowa! I lived in spirit lake as a kid. So I’m familiar. Secondary in Elementary are completely different so I’m glad that I can give you a couple of ideas to use

Thank you! I was not thinking of listening to opera with the children as we move. beautiful I am sorry, I could not hear the second suggestion. It is a song with a name that sounds like 'Bidlow?' Thank you for the image of piano (little movements) and forte (large)!

Can you demonstrate any of these movements with a group of kids? are you standing or sitting? Kids sitting? standing?

Unfortunately, no. FERPA prohibits that.

You should record these with your class and share them. Your lessons would be much more effective that way. Most students sign a waiver to be recorded at the beginning of the year. There are LOTS of music class recordings on youtube, so I know it can be done.

That would be great but they sign a waiver to be filled for the school (and not all do) not to be on my personal KZitem channel that I make money from. Sorry.
