Rift heavily punishes ghost tapping, you can't get away with pressing downkey to clear a row in panic more than once, zombie patterns are tough though, I agree, I wonder if they have an idea on how to make them more readable or if they'll just put less zombie strings at once

I really wanted to like this game but it feels like it removed everything that made Crypt good in order to make a more rigid and generic rhythm game but also you have the added nuisance of having to decipher what each enemy represents rather than just using normal rhythm game notation.

I understand what you mean, It is a very different approach to the crypt, with no dungeons or weapons or rng and no time to prepare for whatever is coming (my one brain cell can't keep up haha). But I do think it's a pretty interesting idea for a rhythm-battle thingy game.
