This man seems like one of the nicest guys on earth. I would have loved to sit down and have a nice conversation with him. RIP Fayard and Harold

They were the GOAT as far as I'm concerned not only in dance but they had the most wonderful personalities. My heart breaks that they experienced the discrimination they did and didn't get to prosper they way they deserved to. I love The Nicholas Brothers.

I still am holding out hope one day that somebody like Scorsese will put their life story on the screen--Harold and Fayard were such magnificent artists and it's heartwarming to find they are being rediscovered, revered and enjoyed by younger people today, just as their great grandparents were wowed seeing them in their various movie appearances. This was wonderful--thanks for sharing it!

I agree. I want a director that will give their story the respect it deserves.

+Michael Klein Would love to see it, but I believe the famed hoofer Gregory Hines had it right when he predicted "if a film were ever made about their lives, the dance numbers would have to be computer-generated because nobody could duplicate them."

Michael Jackson's gone. Usher could play Fayard. Who would you get to play Harold?

If you look at their oldest dance routines. Watch to see how Fayard would look over at his brother while dancing. You could tell he loved his lil brother!❤️

They were extremely talented, no doubt. But personally, they were poor husbands. Especially Harold, how he abandoned Dorothy and his disabled daughter. .....Don’t mean to judge, just repeating facts.

Yes. I just recently watched their biography. They were both unfaithful to their wives. I don't think Dorothy recovered from her heartbreak. You're right though. I'm not trying to judge either.

Of course they loved each other but I get the sense they were not that close outside of their work. Maybe I'm wrong but i read somewhere that it was this way but when it came to their careers , Fayard was the protector and always seems to talk about Harold regarding the work and dancing. One of their last interviews together they are asked how often they see each other and Fayard said when something comes along to do with dancing or singing. kzitem.info/news/bejne/zmieuWqjoXadgoo&ab_channel=JohnC.TibbettsInterviews

@@brahmabkitty03 the writer of this comment doesn't state whom she's referring to, this is her second statement. Yes we know he's speaking of his brother but Fayard is speaking and sometimes folks reply on the one speaking or seen in videos. It happens.
