I honestly could care less about the down fall of faze, however the only thing crazy to me is the whole faze 5 thing only getting 200 concurrent viewers. When I still watched faze I remember the first faze 5 contest, it was black ops 2 and I even tried making an edit for it; I didn’t get enough clips but that’s besides the point, it was a huge deal that they were taking random community members in to consideration for the team because at the time you had to go through other trickshotting/sniping clans to get a name known enough to be recruited to faze. You had to be in soar, optic, shit even AE7 before faze would even look at your clips so the faze 5 contest was super crazy and something their entire audience wanted to be apart of, flash forward 10 years and no one could care less…. Really shows me how old I’ve truly gotten xD

From a business perspective, I question if Faze as a company was really given as raw of a deal as some people may think. It looks like the leadership of Faze made a clear decision to leverage the equity/stock of Faze to gain access to funds, secure members, and other business dealings. For example, in the Faze merger with Hubrick referenced in the video, Faze exchanged large amounts of their company ownership for cash. Was it a terrible deal for Faze? It definitely seems so, but then why did Faze leadership continue to use the same tactic later? To secure their celebrity endorsements, Faze would again use stock to pay celebrities like Snoop Doog. Then when Faze was looking to go public, Faze again would fork over huge amounts of their stock to the SPAC sponsor, B. Riley, in exchange for cash and the opportunity to be traded publicly. I do feel bad for early Faze members who built the brand and who saw their stakes in the company continue to be diluted over the years, but Faze's financial situation seems less like a bad hand dealt, and more like a very risky business strategy that ended up blowing up in their face.

They also have the power to fire said CEO or manager. The board's job is also to look at what direction best benefits the company and its shareholders. Typically comprised of members from different sectors of business and usually areas that are not rivals to the company. That's kinda a summary, there's more in depth stuff and I might of messed up something, but whatever.
