Forget Henry Cejudo. There’s a new ‘Triple C’ in MMA, and unlike the previous one, he certainly isn’t retiring yet.
To open the main card, ‘The Pink Panther’ Kurtis Campbell returned for his second appearance at FCC. Just three weeks removed from capturing a featherweight belt from Declan Fisher at UKFC 17, Campbell looked to add to his fast-growing gold collection, this time at Lightweight. But to do so he had to get past one of the top-ranked amateurs in the UK, Teddy Adlington-Stringer.
Stringer is one of the most experienced amateurs in the UK scene, boasting a 9-4 record, within which he has been tested over 5 rounds as well as competing internationally at IMMAF world championships.
Those in attendance knew they were in for a treat, watching the highest level of amateur MMA, and tension in the air was palpable around the University of Bolton Stadium as the two athletes made their walkouts. But as the fight began to unfold, it became clear that Kurtis Campbell was the least tense person in the arena, appearing calm and composed over the course of 5 rounds.

There is no doubt in our mind that Campbell is now the best amateur in the country and look forward to having him back for FCC 28.
Big thank you to our fighters, coaches, staff, and sponsors who make all this possible.
