It's the director's fault. Good directors are far more important than good actors in order to create a good film. You could use good actors with a bad director and you will have a shitty film. And you could use regular talented actors with a good director and you may have a good film. Sometimes good actors and a good director colide and make an awsome film.

Hunter S. Thompson was certainly a fan of the Vincent Black Shadow in real life as well, so it makes sense that his character would pull that name out of the air. However, as a heavyweight road motorcycle, it would have been as unsuited for long-range desert racing as the Great Red Shark would have been for a dune buggy race. That is to say, "bullshit." "If you rode the Black Shadow at top speed for any length of time, you would almost certainly die. That is why there are not many life members of the Vincent Black Shadow Society." - HST

Benicio Del Toro is the most underrated actor in the history of the business for sure, but what's done is done, he did good but not great for whatever reason. watch any of his movies and you will see the nuances that make him eclipse all the others around him. But what's done is done... the clock waits for no man.

@@AimForTheBushes908 No,he's not blacklisted, things are going pretty good for him. But he could really been up there among the true legends but he made very few movies between like 04 and 12,years that shouldve been his most prolific and he picked alot of pisspoor projects. He also got attached to more projects then any other actor I know, the projects fell apart for different reasons, one was he demanded more money than he sadly was worth.
