Brush, chipping and mulching, avocado tree, trimmings, well in this case, avocado tree stumping. This is a large project probably 500 trees, a very tall trees and steep hillsides. So I have a lot of footage of this and I’m just placing most of it on the raw. Yeah I’ve not had the time to sit through it and I running out of space on my iPad where I keep most of the video footage. So I’m just placing them on my channel you can mail through them if you’d like as I go along in the future, I hope to get better quality and more explanation of what we’re doing. If you’re not familiar with avocado tree trimming along the California coast, this is something that’s been going on for about 25 years now. From my experience, most of it’s pretty effective. It’s a great way to reduce the size of the tree, and save water for a couple years if that’s what you need to do. But most of all improve the fruit size and quality since the trees are generally healthy. The route structure is large, and the canopy of the tree is now much smaller than it used to be. Lotta people don’t agree. Also, a lot of people haven’t done this or even seen these trees before and after the project so it’s hard for them to truly understand how big these trees were and how crowded they were, and how little fruit was actually coming off the trees. I could stand on the road and look up and honestly it’s sometimes 80 feet to the top of the tree if you could imagine being on a ladder trying to pick a bag of fruit that weighs 60 to 80 pounds on your neck not tied in then you have no idea what these guys had to deal with so this is just an explanation of what’s going on. I hope you like the video. Thank you for watching and if you have any questions or comments, please leave them I read them all and answer them all.
