This is a great lead load, maybe the best right now in 20.

Thank you, I used to ramble a bit on earlier turkey load tests, but I figure if I tell you the yardage and show you the target, you can make your own judgments and analysis.
Picked up a box today. Feels like I won the lotto eh? This quest for Turkey loads every year is getting old. FJB

I am trying to get in another test after this arctic snap. I found the partial box of Federal TSS and would like to push them out and do the bxd and grand slam at 40.

what constriction is the indian creek choke tube? I currently have the .555 indian creek choke for my browning BPS. I normally run apex TSS but I ran into some Federal Grandslam today at the hardware store for $15 so i picked some up for backup ammo. curious to see how it patterns.

That is extremely tight for a BPS considering they start about .010 overbored/larger than most 20s. Mine is .555 as well.

I shot some of the grand slam out of a .565 the other day, and it threw solid 40 yard patterns.

I've had good luck with the Is grand slam turkey load out of my Remington 870 20ga with the bone collector choke tub I shot two toms turkeys out to 45 Yards it's a good match

This is probably the best lead load in twenty gauge. It seems to do well in a tight choke.

Thank you, most shotshells I find are for 12ga, 3-1/2 inch…not really seeing 20.

I’ve shot the old version of these and the new grand slams out of my mossberg 500 with the primos tightwad the two of them were basically identical, they’re vicious inside of 30 but 35 was really stretching it and 40 was no bueno
@RegularGuysOutdoors

These are a great lead load, hard to stretch a 20ga much past 35. Got to get spendy💵 for that. Thanks for watching.

@@RegularGuysOutdoors you got that right. I’ve got some federal TSS 3 1/2s to try and they were on sale at 50$ a box lol. You’ve got great content, I try to watch pretty much all your turkey and waterfowl related videos. Have you tried the federal 3inch 12gauge TSS 7s or 9s yet?
@RegularGuysOutdoors

@@nicholasnajar2539 No, just a few of the Browning and Federal 7/9 mix in 20 gauge. Great stuff. There will be a few of those patterns to look out for in the next few videos.
