Financed by USAID, the Feed the Future Haiti Chanje Lavi Plantè project promotes modernized agriculture in Haiti to increase production while generating more revenues for farmers. This includes greenhouse production, mechanical land preparation and high-quality inputs (seeds, fertilizer, approved and safe pesticides, etc.). The project also teaches best technical practices to increase production, like SRI (System of Rice Intensification) or planting in rows using higher densities. This broadcast talks about the efforts led by Feed the Future in the modernization of agriculture in the Cul-de-Sac, Matheux and Mirebalais/Saut d'Eau corridors.
