I mostly pole fish myself but really enjoy getting the rods out, rod and reel just seems to feel better? Afraid you won’t be seeing me on maggotdrowning anymore, I complained after getting a load of abuse and when I raised a complaint they banned me! Very unfair. But I’ll still keep watching the videos and enjoying your ‘journey’. Tight lines, Pokerstar.

Lovely net of fish Danny, I wondered how you were going to fish after all that bad weather and flooded rivers. I wonder how you would have got on using worms for those bream? Tight Lines!

Hi Jason, yeah was not easy jason and i didn think about fishing the whip but i had done a video using it recently so the feeder really was a method with thought behind it,i,e the fish are on shelves so why wouldnt they be on other side shelf if get me but was far from a certainty session. I have tried corn and bigger baits in the past and i have found you wait longer for a bite and catch the same stamp bream so i have stuck with maggots on here, chopped worm in the feeder might also be an option to hold them bream longer. weitd how no proper bream showed as well.

Nice bag Danny... there mustn't have been too much of a flow on... what weight feeder did u use ?? 🤔 Also... if theres a flow do you throw the bait-balls in much behind your fishing line to give it time to settle ?? Water depth here ?? 🤨 😎👍☘🍺

i used a 20 gram feeder i think it was just to get a accurate cast to the bank, not a lot of flow bit was moving on day with extra rain. The depth on the whip line is around 7 to 9ft i would say down to 12=15 maybr down middle. balls fed right on top of whip line as not much flow

Why would he? The fastest way to ruin your fishing is to disclose the venue.
@DannysAnglingBlog

hi phil, i am always open and honest on this question and there are two reasons, one is poaching, i bailiff on the local canal and have seen first hand the devastation that can be caused quickly by poaching, i have seen the full keep nets o into carrier bags, carp and pike taken and the internet i belive is, like it is for us anglers, the main area for finding spots. i try as hard as i can, in the realms of making and interesting video, to protect the fishing. secondly, quite simply, you can not produce weekly content if you name every venue, i normally get around 2 seasons out of venues before i start to see people on the bank and other people making videos on them. hope this helps clear it up mate Danny

Yeah I'm a bit out of touch these days but yes now I understand why you don't always reveal your venue Lack of respect and opportunists spoil it for us all .....great vids Danny keep em comin mate.
