I work in factories 70 and 80 hours a week. I would work 16 hours, get a few hours of sleep and do it again. At 46 years old i started driving an eighteen wheeler. When you're a truck driver you are treated like a 4th class citizen. You make a delivery and they won't let you use their restrooms. People think driving a truck for a living is easy. You're just driving, right! When you're driving 20 thousand miles a month. I averaged 750 miles a day. I ran from NC to the west coast and back. Be home 2 days and do it again. I'm 70 years old and retired now. My body is worn out. Young man i want to thank you for speaking the truth. You're saying what my wife and have been saying for a number of years now. I'm lucky, my wife is 52 years old, so she works part time. She just went back to work. She was out of work for 3 years. She has type 2 diabetes and has had a massive heart attack. Keep singing son. Don't sellout to the record company. God bless you. I live about a mile from the paper mill where you worked.

This is one of those voices that come once in a lifetime maybe once in history and it's a beautiful thing I can't wait to see this guy when he's singing sold-out arenas and you're paying $1,000 a seat to see him in the small venues acoustic absolutely amazing brother I wish you the universe

nAAAAH, What makes him good is his down to earth virgin soul that hasn't been corrupted by the vultures and industry that he is singing about at this moment and how they tax you to death promise you the world but leave you without a pot to piss in. If he allows the tics into his life they will promise him a ton of money use him up and leave him broke. Who can afford a thousand dollar a seat venue to watch him in concert? That would be going with exactly what he is singing against now, then he would loose contact with the common people that are praising him at this point and time, He would become a sell out, The world is full of them and his status at the moment is what people are flocking to him for. MORE isn't always better.

@PAtriotforlife-kn8wo it's funny to me it's always the Have Nots that talk about selling out. That man's Talent is his to do whatever he wants with it. Whether he goes mainstream or stays playing at County Market true talent is true Talent

@@jamesmarslander476 How do you know and feel so strongly about your convictions on who has and who has not. I myself have been involved and around the music business my entire life so far, I am a cousin to Bonnie Raitt and have been involved in the studio with some pretty heavy hitters such as Fleetwood Mac, Van Halen, ZZ Top, David Bowie. Robert Plant and countless up and coming bands with my son being a drummer in one of them, I have seen all to well what happens to musicians when they fall for the quick pay outs, Now calling someone a sell out may be a little strong to which I could tone it down a little. But All I see is another soul in Oliver that is starting out with wholesome intensions that some label will chew up and spit them to the curb, Good day sir.

LOL those hounds said "Boss, we're singin' too!" I love this music so much, it's better than any visit to some therapist could ever be, and youtube makes it free. His message is "Life is hard, but it's good, and I'm grateful." And that's so beautiful and pure and wonderful! That's what the Bible says, that's what my mother and my father wanted me to know, and I KNOW it, ain't no question about it. This world hates what is GOOD and calls it evil, and GOOD endures because GOOD will always triumph over evil in the end! We are the real Winners in Life real Americans, because we love God, and our Family, and what this Country stands for even when the government doesn't!
