So, unless you're extremely fast, or I'm being extremely lazy or catching a nap (just going through the motions). When somebody does this wrist switch, they have to flare their elbows that enables me to immediately shoot, pummel inward for a single, body lock Suplex, or circle out sweep - or *an instant tap from an inverted chick wing.* It all depends on which way my opponent's energy sways. It's the key to these counters. But the flared elbow is the tell-tell sign for the counter.

Learned this grip from Coach Firas Zahabi’s wrestling instructional. So simple yet effective. Helps me set up some of my Judo throws. Seeing this helps me stay sharp. Thanks bro. Love seeing the channel grow!

I’ve said this like 1637272 times now but…best instruction on YT. You don’t have to have extensive grappling knowledge to understand the techniques shown. 🙏 great job, great channel.

Is it illegal (sport BJJ) to grab any part of the hand? I was taught to have my middle finger on the wrist, pinky , ring finger and part of the thumb is on top of the hand. For inside you still are grabbing top of the hand.

1) The FREE COURSE link on our page will teach you the low risk, high reward takedowns you're looking for, but also: 2) There's a video link embedded to this short - between the channel name and caption which reads "5 Most Common Mistakes Jiu Jitsu Practitioners Make When Wrestling" which is essentially an additional free mini course. Enjoy :) 🏆 -Coach Adam
