Thanks for reminding me what a great tool this is. I haven’t used mine in ten years, & needed a reminder about how to use it, what all the accessories do. I bought a new cordless Milwaukee, & they are compatible for accessories. I just don’t like cords while I’m on a ladder, and I don’t like worrying about battery charge if I don’t need to. Very helpful video, thanks

At over three times the price for just the basic machine its not that much better than the Worx or other versions, with the fancy bits like a dust extractor etc & table mount it becomes a very expensive bit of kit

Cordless version is brilliant, I don't like spending money but after 2 years I cant speak highly enough of it, although the blades are a rip off!

Its like 5000% better for three times the price. And it becomes even better with time, when fein withstands, and cheap brands fell apart. If u use it like once in a full moon then of course u shouldn't spend a fortune.

I disagree, I had a worx multi tool which served me well for years even if it was a bit cheap and cheerful. Time had come to upgrade though as it was getting old and I fancied a cordless. I cannot stress the difference an 18v multimeter made in comparison. I had no real complaints about my old one, but didn't realise just how noisy and rattly and imprecise it was until I got a new one. It was like night and day. The speed it cuts is significantly improved, not least of all because the Fein is so well insulated against vibration that almost none of the oscillation is transferred to your hand, meaning that all its power is efficiently oscillating the blade rather than rattling your hand. You can barely tell it's on when you hold it. And it's infinately quieter. I'm not aware of one that's any quieter in fact. And the precision you get from it being so vibration free is much improved. Plus there's the power increase which is very noticeable. It was without a doubt the most noticeable improvement in any upgrade I've ever bought. ... my only slight criticism is the starlock system. Which is in general a massive improvement and time saver, but the cost of the blades has increased as a result. I have no doubt they will come down a bit in time though.

@@willjdeanie Fein tools are worth it if you are a professional or heavy DIYer. The accessories and build quality of worth the price. Amateurs won't notice the quality
