I mean no disrespect to the King HIMself BOB MARLEY, to me FELA gave HIS life for every human with African DNA, He spoke about how Isreal, Roma, USA, England are enslaved indirectly a black man mentally with religion politics. He put it out the in Black and White African or Black people History his what they put in the Bible, and that was how the Europeans came into Africa to spy on the land. His song Beasts of no nation influence the freedom of South Africa. He wasn't only a treat in Africa anymore he was becoming the world treat, I won't be surprised if they have a hand with his death

And me as well! I've known Fela for a long time, but only just learnt of their meeting in Lagos, where McCartney was supposed to have recorded the album Band on The Run at Fela and Ginger Baker's studio. Only one of the songs from the album was recorded there, the rest at EMI which destroyed the Femi/Ginger studio.

Fela's musical genius at its best. Most young nigerians today don't even know this song because they are busy listening to Davido.

Bruh, you've just earned my biggest like of the day lol!! Was still a kid when fela died in 97 but growing up on his music playing all my dad's vynils of fela throughout highschool makes me frown a lot on Nigerias contemporary music. I'm almost 30 now and don't get why youth fuck with Davido and Wizkid music.
