When snoop kept asking Mike what he did to him and he gave snoop that look and Chris immediately picked up on it. Chris knew exactly what that creep had done to michael, victims often can see the same mannerisms they had as victims in others. Chris being once a victim and also having children of his own took the situation extremely personally. Probably one of the few murders Chris did that was actually not morally reprehensible and ironically it was the one he went to prison for.

This was one of the deepest scenes in the show in my opinion, Chris offered Mike family not just a job. In real life urban American youth often find love in the streets that they don't at home. "If you with us you with us, and we'll be with you all the way".

@Brian Kaye What Moniek means is that when questioned about what he did to him and Michael couldnt answer, Chris picked up on his body language. The level of brutality that Chris unleashed that shocked even Snoop kind of hints that perhaps the same thing happened to Chris. Chris as a character was always calm and composed to a degree. To see him loose control like that...

He wasn't cold blooded, he was just doing as he was told. If anything he performed mercy kills on majority of his enemies "quick and clean" - in opposed to how other people would've killed them. This is of course with the exception of Bug's dad... but even that was a kill because he valued Mike and his fam. He also saved that guy's life who Snoop mistook for a Yankee. He has value over human life, he just kills whoever the boss say need killing.

One of the best shows I've ever seen. Snoop is in a class by herself. Felicia Pearson's backstory is compelling, as are many of the people involved in the show (actors and advisors). I just finished reading "All the Pieces Matter-The Wire" by Jonathan Abrams which is mostly interviews and backstory with all of the actors, writers, HBO execs, crew and real people involved in the show. It's organized seasonally and is fascinating, thought-provoking reading; just as the show is to watch. Season 4 slayed me. As a retired, inner-city teacher of 37 years, I relived the helplessness and frustration with the system that just can't seem to get it right. We try so hard to come up with ways that might work (as in season 4) but get shot down (no pun intended) due to testing or changing administrations, or whatever (as in the current craze of book-banning). Gosh I'm tearing up right now, I'm a little passionate about my love for this show. Snoop and Chris, one of the most memorable duos on TV! Thanks for the clips, I'm adding this to my "The Wire" Flipboard Magazine!
