This month, we had 3 amazing females in the studio - Olu Alatise, Gabija Cepelyte and Kloe Dean. We discussed how growing as dancers in male-led environments has impacted us. We looked at the stereotypes around female-identifying dancers, which are not helping us what still needs to change and how we can protect each other better.
In April 2024, the WE GROW 360º platform focuses on getting hired. We're looking at all the ways we can expand our opportunities. We believe that it is important to approach the industry conversation from a female perspective and empower each other in this journey, which might be slightly harder than it is for male-identifying dancers.
