Had a procedure done and they needed access to my heart. An instrument was inserted via the femoral triangle. I assume it was supposed to travel the vein and not the artery? When I woke up during surgery the lead dr was yelling at the student “NOT like that!!”. I don’t know what happened, I was quickly put back under. And then when I woke up to recovery there was a nurse whose job was to lean over me applying pressure to the femoral triangle. I received a stern lecture from her on the importance of not moving. I was a living statue for agonizing hours. 15 years later I still have pain in my femoral triangle and a bulge is palpable. Drs say its just scar tissue. The pain has been increasing lately so I’ll be seeing my dr again soon. TMI I know but this is the reason I watched this video. Thank you Sam. Great video. Very informative, just now learning what may have been their mistake. I’ve lived 15 more years and all is forgiven of them but I just wish I had a cure for the pain and peace of mind about the strength of the artery (or vein).

4:42 what??!? That’s not femoral triangle. The adductor longus is included in the femoral triangle. Adductor longus medial border forms the boundary of femoral triangle
