This is the best review of this amp on youtube. When you compare this video to any of the more 'professional' reviews you can tell they're just a bunch of dudes trying to sell you something and do not give a shit if it's suitable for your needs or not. This review has real perspective on the different ways you can use this amp at home, gigging, with different guitars, different volumes etc. Nice one brother 🤘

you know what!!!!.... I wish poeple would just ditch all the studio gear for you tube and demoing amps.....I know I know, poeple want this super refined studio quality sound on you tube ....I get it....BUT my honest opinion is that the camera mic sounds much better for hearing what an amp sounds like as if you were there in the room ...this sounds just like as if I was there in the room with you.....sounds great!

@@JacobWilliam Hello! Great great review! This question might be dumb but I always like advice from people who know better. I have a Joyo JTA 05, 5 watt amp. Nice to hear someone play in a more real world situation, all these music store guys & manufacturers with their studio condenser mics running through outboard gear don't provide a true room feel on their reviews. I have a BJ III with the Canabis Rex which sounds pretty good turned up like you say, but as soon as you engage too much gain the bottom end turns to mush, no definition. I was seriously considering the IV, but I'm not convinced they've addressed that with the circuit changes. I hate to resort to the Bill M mid to achieve it. Nice review brother.

Stupid question, if you can’t crank it at home to get that on the verge of break up sound and need a pedal to get dirty, is one just as well off with modeling or SS or nutube with attenuators or some other solution? Does one still get something with a tube amp (turned low) and pedal that you still can’t achieve with modeling or SS? Your also sounds amazing and I have an opportunity to buy one for $450. But You’re to crank it up however in my situation I wouldn’t have as many opportunities as I would like. I’m not currently gigging but have always wanted a tube amp but unsure if they’re wasted on me
@JacobWilliam
3 жыл бұрын
I personally think that if you’re not gigging...a nice overdrive pedal with a modeling or SS amp would be fine. Tube amps are great when you can turn them up but I don’t think it’s worth the money if you have to keep it low volume all the time.
