Hello!
As I promised, here is a quick little video on what happened to FEROSE that I had used in one of my previous videos to treat my chassis against rust. The rust has been slowing down or even stopped in some places but unfortunately there are also weaknesses so as a bonus I try to go and treat the rust more in depth with DERPHOSE which contains phosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid is renowned for cleaning rust but I chose DERPHOSE which contains it because this product also contains some additives and seems to me more oriented towards the automobile.
The protocol:
1 Derphose
2 Ferose (optional but it's definitely a plus)
3 Anti-rust primer (Phosphating primer, epoxy primer, zinc phosphate as needed: if necessary to paint on it, if bare sheet metal or bare sheet part mixed with painted part etc ... ask your dealer for advice)
4 Optional paint or gravel depending on the area to be painted.
5 Optional Varnish
6 Optional Hollow body wax according to area (can be done in step 4 to finish)
In this video I did:
1 Derphose
2 Ferose
3 Anti-rust primer
4 Painting
5 Varnish
I hope I was more efficient this time! I would check it out in a year or two to see. Too bad there is not enough detailed information on the application of DERPHOSE I did with what I had!
