Loved your friends bright and sparkly eyes . Loved that you did so many close ups of the work and didnt just show the overall result.

The definition of a quilt show: a place you got to be inspired, overwhelmed and done in by intense waves of inadequacy (cuz you'll never even remotely be as good even with 100 years of practice.) But I loved every quilt I saw ....because you can see the love, the creativity and talent in each one.

I’m always blown away by the creativity. I honestly don’t know how people come up with all the amazing design ideas, I just don’t have that chip in my brain!

Second time watching! So much quilty goodness!! My favourite quilt was the same as yours - the sparkly Frozen inspired one. I've never been much of a big fan of stick-on diamonds on quilts, but that one was very cleverly done. Totes jealous of you meeting the 'Queen of Quilting' Jenny Doan! It always makes the experience so much better when they're lovely, down-to-earth people. xx

Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it! I had to cut a lot of footage out because the vlog would’ve been about 3 hours long, there’s so much to see. Jenny was so lovely, exactly how I imagined she would be. xx

Thank you so much for sharing your visit with the rest of us. I dare not go since I spent a fortune on fabrics when I went last time in 2016!!!!!!!!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I was really good this year - I didn’t buy a single thing! It took willpower but I basically tried to walk past all the fabric stalls because that way I don’t get drawn in to buying stuff I don’t need. 👍🏼

Thanks for the detail on the Japanese quilts. They are always sooooooo stunning and the fabrics are so unique and stunning. Breathtaking. Loved “ Cinderella and the ugly sisters”. And “ The jubilee quilt”.

Hi Penny, I have watched your video several times. Thank you so much for doing this for us. I love the Grimm fairy tale quilt. All that applique!!! The pineapple is a great favorite also. I would have loved to meet the Gourmet quilter and Jenny Doan. Those pictures with her are great! So many beautiful quilts and talented artists. Looks like you had lots of vendor stalls to leave some money in, also. Thanks!

Thank you, Kathy. Yes it was a wonderful show and I’m so sad that I haven’t been able to bring anymore Quilt Show videos to my channel due to the pandemic. Jenny was absolutely lovely, just as nice as you would imagine. It was so great to meet. Hopefully I will be able to go to more quilt shows again soon. x
