I remember going through this lovely village to Prestatyn from Cheshire on my holidays, My paternal gran always used to stop at a lovely little chip shop where you could eat in or take out, we usually ate inside as it was around 8pm when we got there. it was always a Friday night and Gran's treat for us as the supermarkets were'nt open that late back then to get in food supplies for the caravan, the boot was usually full of clothes and bedding for our 6 weeks stay. Wonder if that chippy is still there, best I've ever tasted, never had any better since? :)

i moved to the village in 1983/4 i went to school at bryn garth. In all fairness i was taught welsh well and i thrived in high school and i dropped it like a hot brick when i was told i was shit at it . Im 43 now and i admit i love wales and i'll never leave x. Even still, as i live in Ruthin now my kids are welsh. my son got an A+ before he dropped it on the grounds that he don't like the public discord of some faculties.(he's loyal ) and may i add, my daughter can speak welsh. I LOVE WALES
