Fabulous. Truly did this car justice. This model, was the first Matchbox I bought with my own money when I was a child. 75¢ in about 1968/9 at Cope's Drugstore. Great work!

It's very typical for all hot wheels and matchbox toy cars; to be having no side windows, I used brass or silver sheet metal to add side windows. Side windows for all plastic car models.

Been wanting to remove the roof rack on one of these since I was a kid. I thought the luggage was neat, but the casting was so cool looking. Probably the 1st Italian car I fell in love with, no offense Ferrari.

Hi Rob. Turned out great. I worked in the electronics industry years ago, part of my job was making printed circuit boards, the board we used was light sensitive allowing us to use uv light to transfer the circuit to the board. We used sodium hydroxide to develop the image before etching away the unwanted copper. You might be able to find what you need from an electronics supplier.

WOW... that is absolutely transformative. I know this is more of a customization than a restoration as the details you added were never part of the original offering, but you improved this 1,000 percent. The details that you added to this casting really makes it stand out... next time... do the plate as well and it will be complete. Another great job.
